During Le Guess Who? 2018, the La Blogothèque team captured a stripped down and intimate Take Away Show with Moscow-based musician Kate NV. On her latest solo LP ‘для FOR’, Kate NV reflects on daily life in her native Moscow; creating an atmospheric soundscape filled with surreal, playful arrangements.
During the session, she performed 'вас YOU' from the album, as well as 'Softly the Spirit Flew Up to Heaven' (music by Mussorgsky, words by Tolstoï) accompanied only by Glockenspiel. The session was recorded at the Regentenzaal of Utrecht's care institution Bartholomeus Gasthuis. Watch below.
