With Military Genius, Canadian musician Bryce Cloghesy flexes his world-building prowess, a talent documented throughout boundary-pushing discography dating back to 2016. In his music, dream logic reigns supreme; and otherwise familiar genres - jazz, folk, R&B - morph into unknown, alluring monsters of our subconscious. Released in the throes of the pandemic, 2020’s ‘Deep Web’ continues to hover over the listener’s minds as they eagerly await the project’s sophomore release, set to arrive later this year under the banner of experimental label Unheard of Hope again.
