Program updates
Added to the Le Guess Who? 2026 program are writer, poet, journalist and organizer Mohammed El-Kurd for the opening performance of the festival; musician, composer and producer Ricardo Dias Gomes, a respected innovator on the Rio de Janeiro music scene; improvisational duo Sarine & Yantra, who take sonic journeys with percussion, drums and flutes, Greek bouzouki, and other acoustic, traditional and handcrafted instruments; composer, singer and producer Álvaro Lancelotti, whose work merges Afro-Brazilian spirituality and music; Spooky-J, the electronic architect behind Nihiloxica's rhythmic force; Fidju Kitxora, a mysterious entity in transit between Lisbon and Cabo Verde that collects voices, sounds and unexpected events; Kampire, a core member of the Nyege Nyege collective and one of East Africa's most exciting DJs; DJ, sound artist and radio host Michael Holland, whose collection digs into the music of the Baltics; multi-instrumentalist and composer Marielle Groven, who weaves her Acadian heritage into improvised pieces; composer, improviser, and singer Lida Brouskari, who uses playful synthesizer sounds to invite the audience to take part in an imaginative experience; and pianist and composer Radio Hito, who finds new meaning in poetry and language.

Also joining are innovative musician Wu-Lu and shapeshifting artist POiSON ANNA, who present their new collaborative project BAKERZ DOZEN; a graphic scoring workshop presentation by Roxanne Tataei with HKU students; Brigadera, a duo that navigates between a punk ethos and heartfelt delicacy—they're like an elusive jester springing from Amsterdam out to the international creative music scene; REMIX, a dance production by Sharon MN that explores the transformative power of dance, music and love through the Aymara/Quechua concept of Takipayanaku; and two films and one audiovisual work: Ensayo #1 (tiempos de guerra) by Francisco Baquerizo Racines, Lmra Heyya Kulshi — Woman Is Everything, a portrait of Khadija el Warzazia by Erik Kantar, and MUSCLE by Karimah Ashadu, an installation that immerses viewers in the world of bodybuilders training in a makeshift gym in the slums of Lagos. And, of course, Le Guess Who? couldn't celebrate its 20th edition without the return of legendary music selector DJ Fitz, a true connoisseur of disco, psyche-funk and global beats.

Unfortunately, Los Delfines del Amor and Lillian Allen have had to cancel their performances at the festival. Los Delfines del Amor were unable to get their visas approved, and Lillian Allen is unable to attend for personal reasons.
