Mexican improvisational artist, composer, producer, and performer Germán Bringas arrives at Le Guess Who? bearing a fascination with velocity - of attention, synesthesia, and consciousness overall. Bringas also seeks to, through his performances, accurately reflect his life and work in the vibrant Mexico City neighborhood of La Portales, where he has successfully cared for the free jazz scene at Café Jazzorca for over three decades. For this special concert, the musician will revisit part of 2021’s ‘Tunel Hacia Tí’, a compilation of his early compositions, as well as two ‘brief and intense’ duets with his son, Iván Bringas, and with Rodrigo Ambriz.
