Fuensanta

Mexico-born, Amsterdam-based Fuensanta Méndez is a singer, composer, double bassist, improviser, multidisciplinary artist, and, according to Art District Radio, a ‘spirit steeped in poetry’. Like a climbing vine, her melodies spring effortlessly in different directions, revealing a sincere and surrealist outlook of her surroundings. One of the most prominent and distinct young voices emerging from the experimental music scene in Europe and Latin America, as heard on last year’s ‘Principio del Fuego’, produced with Louis Cole and launched on Snarky Puppy’s GroundUp Music.
