From 11-14 November, we'll celebrate the 14th edition of Le Guess Who? and we can't describe how excited we are to finally welcome you to Utrecht after two years.
But first, there are a couple of things we’d like to draw your attention to. It won't surprise you that things will be a little different than usual this year. Please read the information below carefully before visiting the festival.
COVID Certificate mandatory in order to attend the festival
Le Guess Who? will have a Covid-19 protocol in place for our 2021 edition, which follows regulations imposed by the Dutch government. The most important thing is that it is mandatory to show your personalised EU Digital COVID Certificate (DCC) in combination with a valid ID every day in order to attend the festival. This COVID Certificate, that takes the form of a scannable QR code, represents a proof of vaccination, recovery or a negative test result.
If you are from a non-EU country or territory that joined the EU Digital COVID Certificate system, you can attend the festival by showing this Covid Certificate in combination with a valid ID.
If you have to to get tested in order to attend the festival, you need a test result that is up to 24 hours old (after that, you need to take another test). Testing is free via Testen voor Toegang. You have to make an appointment via their website in advance and can already do so now.
- Visitors who have a 4-Day Pass must pick up a new Coronacheck wristband at the Ticketing Area of TivoliVredenburg every day. They need to wear this Coronacheck wristband in addition to their festival wristband.
- Visitors who have a Day Ticket will be asked to do their Coronacheck first, before they have their festival ticket scanned and receive their festival wristband.
Please note: it is only possible to do a Coronacheck at the Ticketing Area in TivoliVredenburg (entrance on the side of the Vredenburg square), not at other festival locations.
For more information about the Covid-19 policy, please have a look at our FAQ.
Ticketing Area & wristband pick-up
Upon arrival at the festival, you will need to exchange your ticket for a festival wristband. Please note: you can only do this at our Ticketing Area in TivoliVredenburg (entrance on the side of the Vredenburg square). This is also the place where you need to do the Coronacheck daily. You must collect your individual wristband in person, as it needs to be worn immediately. We can scan your ticket from any mobile device.
To avoid queues at the Ticketing Area, we urge you to pick up your festival wristband and do the Coronacheck as early as possible. The Ticketing Area is open Thursday-Sunday from 10 AM to 11 PM.
Timetable, Timesquare App & Magazine
Printed timetables are available at the Ticketing Area and the Info Desk at TivoliVredenburg. You can also consult the festival timetable through the Timesquare App, that can be downloaded for free and gives you the opportunity to make your personal timetable by saving your favorite artists. Besides, we have made a LGW Magazine, offering you some inspiration with background articles and illustrated stories.
Although Le Guess Who? tries to offer the most up-to-date information, all printed matter is subject to change. For the latest updates, keep an eye on our website and social media channels during the festival.
Other important info
Please keep in mind that all venues have limited capacity and that due to current Covid-19 regulations, Le Guess Who? takes place at 75% capacity. This applies to all venues that are part of the festival and will be monitored and supervised on sight. Make sure to be on time if you want to be assured of entrance.
Needless to say, it can be a bit of a challenge organizing a festival currently, but it’ll be so worth it. See you soon! We can’t wait.
