DARKSIDE share new single 'Graucha Max'

In 2021, DARKSIDE released their highly-acclaimed, sophomore album Spiral, hailed by publications such as Crack, The Quietus, and MOJO as an awe-inspiring assemble of rhythmic sonic landscapes. Now, the group offers audiences a first taste from their new recording sessions with new single Graucha Max.

"The track written during sessions last year, and is inspired by the sounds of vintage Tropicalia, digital dancehall, and krautrock. It is the first new music, that the band have released as a trio, with the possibility of more new music arriving over the next few months" - Northern Transmissions

Since 2023, Chilean electronic musician Nicolás Jaar and American multi-instrumentalist Dave Harrington welcome percussionist and long-time collaborator Tlacael Esparza into the project full-time. Specially for Le Guess Who? 2024, the group curate their own program highlighting their inspirations, emerging acts and fellow like-minded artists, with an emphasis on discovery and exploration.

DARKSIDE perform at Le Guess Who? 2024 on Friday, 8 November. Their curated program at the festival features a.o. Wadada Leo Smith, Cinna Peyghamy, ganavya, Phantom Orchard, Eucademix (Yuka Honda), and more.
