After attending a workshop in deejaying and music producing by East African platform Femme Electronic, model Anita Kevin decided to try it herself. Watching her do her thing as DJ Turkana, we would believe she was born making the crisp hard dance mixes that led her to feature on the Nyege Nyege Tapes compilation ‘L'Esprit de Nyege’, released at the end of last year. If Turkana sounds this good so early into deejaying career, we can only feel excitement at what the future will bring to her craft.
