Every recording or performance is a version of a piece: delicate melodies and intimate lyrics dipping in and out of ever-shifting arpeggios, riffs and expansive passages of guitar exploration. If the songs feel like the sonic embodiment of his emotions, the abstract instrumental journeys become acts of reflection and release. When asked to select artists for this year's edition, they went, as they put it, "a little wild". They've curated a sonically diverse mix featuring longtime musical inspirations, friends and collaborators; artists that they've met on the road, and acts that they've been eager to see live.
