The Bug vs Ghost Dubs

Enveloped in bass, seduced by bass, submerged in bass and utterly crushed by bass: The Bug vs Ghost Dubs seek to craft a new form of spectral dub. The tag team featuring soundlab explorer Kevin Martin and musician and producer Michael Fiedler present the collaboration that marked their album Implosion. Slow and heavy, they maintain a totally hypnotic swing with a sound deliberately immersive and definitely implosive. The duo approaches their target differently yet share the goal of keeping their sound raw and brutally minimal, soaking the mood in tension with eerie drift and dub techno's floatation strategies: essentially a confession of devoted sound system addiction.
