Pink Oculus presents Before Wisdom

Esperanza Denswil’s alter-ego Pink Oculus began as an exercise to self-love. Since her vibrant 2013 breakthrough, the Dutch-Surinamese artist has risen to quick acclaim, thanks to her standout live performances. She is now returning from a hiatus to preview her upcoming record, ‘Before Wisdom’ – to be released next year. Her passage through Le Guess Who? marks the world premiere of a new collaborative performance, in which she is joined by audiovisual artist Boris Acket and spatial designer and scenographer, Dennis Vanderbroeck, as well as curator and writer Vincent van Velsen.
