The steady yet ever versatile Kevin Morby extends his musical range with each project he's a part of. Morby exhibits a fleeting beauty and folk rock romanticism in his songwriting, hypnotically exploring intimate storytelling next to panoramic sounds. Third solo LP 'Singing Saw' picks fruits from the West Coast's placid outer ring, whereas this year's follow-up 'City Music' became a stoic meditation on lonerism in the metropolitan districts.
