James Merry is a visual artist, originally from Gloucestershire in the UK, who is now based in Iceland where he has been living and working with Björk since 2009. As her co-creative director on visuals, he created masks and headpieces for a number of live and video performances. Four of these beautifully handcrafted pieces will be exhibited. Outside of his work with Björk, James Merry is primarily known for his hand embroidery on sportswear and has collaborated with institutions such as the V&A, Gucci, ShowStudio and Opening Ceremony.
