This year, Le Guess Who? attendees will again be treated to a performance by DNA? AND?, an Oslo-based improvisation project unlike any other. This is because the group is made up of professional musicians and youngsters with Down Syndrome alike. Going strong for over a decade, the collective has traveled the world, played with N.U. Unruh and Hamid Drake, and gathered praise from international outlets such as The Quietus and more. In a world that so often attempts to explain Down’s from the outside in, DNA? AND? takes matters into their own hands in a beautiful way.
