Revealing the full program + timetable for U?, LGW's largest free day program to date

This year, even more neighborhoods are taking part in the U? program. Aside from the city center, Lombok, 2e Daalsebuurt, Werkspoorkwartier, Transwijk and Cartesius, U? will expand to Overvecht and Wittevrouwen. The programs are made with, or even entirely by, Utrecht residents, local initiatives, entrepreneurs, social institutions and neighborhood centers. Residents and local initiatives were invited to participate by means of an open call, which resulted in a large amount of diverse and exciting submissions.

At ZIMIHC theater Stefanus in Overvecht, you can participate in a dance and djembe workshop, taste different dishes from international caterers from Overvecht, and hear music from Kurdish group Cirkel om de Haard. The Free Party (Day Rave) by Antenne, Proces Kabaal, TBS and SOS is an ode to Tekno at Hof van Cartesius. Feel like dancing? Right next to Utrecht Central Station, you’ll find Perron West, an old train carriage where you can dance at the silent disco of Stiltecoupé. Discover what Lombok has to offer by joining the Migrantour, an impressive walk through the district of Lombok, organized and led by people with a migration background. Find a music and art program curated by songwriter Spinvis at dB's. Feel like leaving the city behind? Then cycle to Landhuis Oud Amelisweerd. Here you will find a series of short films about the birthplace of Baroque which are presented in the historic rooms of the country house. Heavyspitters hosts an afternoon full of raw hip hop acts at the boxing club Jimmy’s Gym, interspersed with boxing matches and breakdance performances by UC Crew.
