Rotterdam's Neighbours Burning Neighbours, known for their malformed brand of noise-pop, are masters of discord-turned-harmony. After three years, we can now celebrate their much-anticipated return in the form of new single Neil Young.
The band, which consists of some of Rotterdam's most idiosyncratic rock makers Daanie van den IJssel, Kat Kalkman, Alicia Breton Ferrer, and Aram Scheeve, are currently preparing their first full-length album. Its first single, Neil Young, casts a hypnotic spell through the repeated mantra, "Neil Young is killing me." The song is released in tandem with a music video, directed by Charlotte Brand & produced by A Small Production Company. Tune in below.
Neighbours Burning Neighbours perform at Le Guess Who? 2023 on Saturday, 11 November, as part of the Le Guess Who? x U? present program.
