All tension and burlesque unruliness, their sound is abrasive but never shapeless: melodic in its own crooked way, sprawling, shouted, deliberately unrefined. And beneath the scorn flickers lucid criticism: a furious, tuneful dismantling of late-capitalist absurdity, with a dirtbag attitude as delivery and noise as critique.
