Le Guess Who? announces a new ticketing strategy in collaboration with CM.com (formerly Yourticketprovider) and resale platform TicketSwap. From now on, we are implementing Ticketlock. It’s a feature that prevents fraud and increases reliability, and also means that it’s no longer possible to profit from the reselling of festival tickets.
From now on, tickets for LGW can only be resold via TicketSwap at a maximum of 100% of the original ticket price, plus 5% service fee. Previously, the resale through TicketSwap could be done for 120% of the original ticket price. This means that no profit can be made on the resale of Le Guess Who? tickets, but sellers can still recover their costs.
Le Guess Who also guarantees a safe resale of tickets. When reselling through TicketSwap, the seller's tickets are invalidated and the new buyer receives a completely new and personalized ticket - part of the trusted system that remains possible thanks to the renewal of the partnership between the parties.
With rising costs for festival organizers and visitors alike, ticket prices everywhere are under pressure. Last year, we started our initiative for Low Income Day Tickets, which continues in 2025, and we’re continuously collaborating with local partners U-pas and CJP to try to keep LGW accessible and affordable. This renewed ticketing strategy is another important step in that effort.
Le Guess Who? 2025 takes place at various venues in Utrecht, the Netherlands. For more info on LGW ticketing, please visit our FAQ.
