With a reputation supported by slick, low-end beats, the artist known as Zohar has steadily become a mainstay of Dutch electronic music. Zohar’s 2019 self-titled may have made a splash, but it was last year’s ‘Object’ that made them a tidal wave, capable of washing over the scene. Besides their two entries in the ZHR series thus far, Zohar has also garnered praise for their live appearances, having performed at renowned institutions such as Dekmantel Festival and FIBER Festival, as well as a collaboration with dance performer Hannah Grennel at the Opera House. Zohar seeks to disorient, surprise, and excite the listener, all in one go.
