Vincent Moon's Live Cinéma
French filmmaker Vincent Moon is the quintessential maverick music documentarian. He was the main director of the Blogotheque’s Take Away Shows, a web-based series based on field work music videos of indie rock staples. Later, he began filming folklores and ceremonies around the world for his label Collection Petites Planètes. These days, with ‘live cinéma’, he curates a ceremony of his own; each performance is an improvised interaction between live-edited image and music on stage, making for an entirely unique experience each time.
