The Shits
"Titans of disgust and deliverance" The Shits make primal rock boiled down to its essence and flung full in the listener's face: a feast for the senses in the worst way possible. Lurking somewhere on the decadence-destruction axis, they use repetition, tortured vocal invective and heads-down intensity as blunt instruments. Monolithic bass, redlined guitar layers and murky distortion turn their sound into a swampy, psychedelic assault that is grotesque and occasionally hypnotic beneath all the grime.
