Tainá e i o u

The work of singer-songwriter Tainá e i o u is marked by sound experimentation and the fusion of Amazonian traditions with contemporary languages. Her music emerges from the encounter between the organic and the industrial: from the rhythms of the Northern Brazil to the textures and noises of her father's mechanic shop. From this coexistence, a unique aesthetic takes shape, crossing free jazz, tropicalism and experimental music. Her debut album, METACOMUNICANÇÃO, brings together original compositions that engage with linguistic and cultural issues, particularly her advocacy for the visibility of Amazonian culture.
