Yessica Deira is Soft Break, a DJ and multidisciplinary designer hailing from Rotterdam. Early encounters with the city’s bustling music scene feed into her DJ work, which is highly eclectic; with her, listeners embark on a sonic tour through the jungle, dubstep, grime, footwork, and more. Upon graduating from No Shade DJ Mentoring Program 2020 in Berlin, Soft Break has exploded in the Netherlands’ club scene, having spent 2022 wowing crowds at Dekmantel Festival, De School, and WOO HAH!, to name a few. As part of AMPFEMININE, she curates mixes by femme-presenting peers, booking new talent, and hosting parties and events.
