RP Boo

RP Boo (sometimes spelled Arpebu), or Kavain Space, is widely considered to be among the fathers of footwork, the Chicago-based, fast-paced, genre-leaping electronic music genre. Online crate digging, and, particularly, British label Planet Mu’s releasing of RP Boo’s music has brought renewed attention to the DJ, and he has been collecting new aficionados along the way who flock to see him spin plates. Last year’s ‘Legacy Vol. 2’ presents a first glimpse at RP Boo’s remarkable footwork legacy, but these tracks come to life fully, of course, in their natural habitat - the dance floor.
