Pop-Up Radio
Oroko Radio is an independent internet radio station based in Accra, Ghana. With the goal to connect, inspire, and empower through conversation, collaboration, and community, Oroko seeks to reclaim and recenter narratives from the African and Diasporic artistic communities.
The community radio also serves as a platform for the content generated through the Oroko Artist Residency. The station intends to foster relationships with visiting artists and community projects in Accra, Ghana, as well as other community projects around the globe, exchanging ideas, organizing workshops, co-creating programming, and much more.
As a guest curator of our pop-up radio, Oroko will showcase their resident DJs from the Netherlands and Belgium (NL, BE) paired with selected guests from LGW line-up.
