Lionmilk

Mokichi Kawaguchi is Lionmilk; pianist, composer, and producer. A childhood in Los Angeles spent listening to his mother’s classical radio in the morning and his father’s jazz records in the evening resulted in the multi-faceted artist of today. Lionmilk is at home in the prospering electronic underground scene and the expansive local jazz community. The music, oscillating between the two different planes, seemingly pours out of him, as heard on the three (!) albums he put out last year. Its variety matches not only his eclectic upbringing but also the city's ever-changing fabric.
