London's Dry Cleaning's debut LP is filled to the brim with unheard-of snark, courtesy of vocalist Florence Shaw's quick-witted lyrics. Last year’s 'New Long Leg' follows their acclaimed 2019 EP releases - 'Sweet Princess' and 'Boundary Road Snacks and Drinks' - but this time, the foursome is tighter than ever, brought closer by the pandemic. Beyond spoken word, Shaw's writing is woven into guitarist Tom Dowse, bassist Lewis Maynard, and drummer Nick Buxton’s instrumentals. The cohesion is helped by producer John Parish's work on the record.
