Growing up in Chicago, Camgurl began prickling her ears to the sounds around her. Nowadays, she channels these sonic recollections in her sets, among which ghetto tech, booty house, acid bass, and more can be found. Under her thumb, the dancefloor is bouncy, sweaty, and burning hot - basically, irresistible. As one fifth of the Rotterdam-based collective AMPFEMININE, Camgurl is also invested on getting more femme-presenting individuals behind the decks and diversifying the Dutch club scene. Her work, however, goes far beyond Europe; Camgurl is also a founding member of Indonesia’s REACTOR, whose purpose is to spark a change in Bali’s nightlife, bringing forth new genres, mediums, and agents.
