AZEEMA is a print magazine, online platform, community, and creative agency exploring the strength and creativity of women and non-binary folk of the Global Majority with a focus on WANA+SA.
A grassroots platform run by the community for the community, Azeema amplifies voices that need to be heard. They create access to resources and experiences through workshops and events. And as AZEEMA FM, they party in style.
As a guest curator of our COSMOS pop-up radio, AZEEMA FM put together a program highlighting the sounds of West Asia, North Africa & South Asia. In multiple sessions throughout the evening, we will explore archival music, soundscapes, regional genres, and more.
