Ancient Shapes

Although best known for his work evoking the sounds of classic country music, Daniel Romano has always been a free and restless spirit, as well as a gifted and masterful musician. His new brainchild is Ancient Shapes; born out of a twenty-minute session of banging on drums, they sound fast, rebellious and solid like concrete. Adding existing poems to fiercely rocking tunes, Ancient Shapes could best be described as punk poetry.
