Alexander Scriabin - 'Le Poème du Feu' performed by Radio Philharmonic Orchestra and Alexander Toradze
'Le Poème du Feu' is perhaps Russian composer Alexander Scriabin’s most recognizable work. The ghostly symphonic piece, loosely based on the myth of Prometheus, even gave way to new musical expressions - baptizing the ‘mystic’ or ‘Prometheus’ chord. This fall, Netherlands Radio Philharmonic Orchestra (conducted by Hannu Lintu), Netherlands Radio Choir, and pianist Alexander Toradze will breathe new life into it on the Le Guess Who? stage.
