MEXPOSURE, a simulation of a pirate television signal disguised as an institutional TV channel, is a place where independent artists come to find a space to express themselves. It will explore the idea of territorial demarcations and territorial division of Mexico City and will enhance the multicultural contrasts of each of these districts by presenting untold stories, artistic movements and particular sounds.

For this visual multicultural and pluricultural mosaic of sounds and spaces, the common thread are the streets and the everyday life.

MEXPOSURE is presented by Sonido Confirmation, “el sonido del barrio”, a project that explores urban visuals and sounds as they challenge us to navigate through the contemporary Latin American city with a playful combination of sounds, rhythms and other explorations from the different neighborhoods and streets of Mexico City.
