Each year, Le Guess Who? invites trailblazing creatives to curate their own dedicated programs, highlighting their inspirations, emerging acts and fellow like-minded artists, with an emphasis on discovery and exploration.

Japanese psych-rock outfit Bo Ningen introduce their curation at Le Guess Who? 2024 with a playlist that they have personally put together with their favorite tracks of the diverse range of artists they invite.

At Le Guess Who?, Bo Ningen presents a curation dedicated to “representing the Bo Ningen community, with lots of collaborative projects and with a strong focus on audiovisual performances.”

The playlist features a.o. the ever-evolving and forward-thinking 食品まつり a.k.a. Foodman; London’s five-piece band Lunch Money Life; Gorgonn, whose relentlessly raw sound fuses drone, dub, noise and techno into a fearsome assault; the instrumental trio The Messthetics, who, at Le Guess Who?, will perform together with acclaimed jazz saxophonist James Brandon Lewis; Still House Plants, a British group that bridges elements of sampling, slow core and repetition to create fractious and sharp music with a melting pop heart; soprano vocalist Olivia Salvadori (Tutto Questo Sentire) and songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Coby Sey, who will perform at Le Guess Who? together with drummer and percussionist Akihide Monna (Bo Ningen), as an exciting new crossover named GAISTER; and Bo Ningen themselves, who will present their own alternate live score to Alejandro Jodorowsky’s 1973 magnum opus The Holy Mountain at the festival.
