Orchestra of Spheres share first single 'Koudede' from upcoming album 'Mirror'
Tuesday Sep 4th 2018
Orchestra of Spheres send their listeners on a reflective voyage of sonic discovery on their new song 'Koudede'. With the track, the adventurous psych pop group share their love for the Tuareg and Niger musician of the same name (who is a part of the celebrated collective Group Inerane).
'Koudede' is the lead single taken from Orchestra of Spheres' upcoming album 'Mirror', which will be released on double LP on 2 November via Fire Records.
"Koudede is a lament for the Tuareg musician Koudede from Niger. He played under his own name and in the band Group Inerane. I was a big fan of Group Inerane since Sublime Frequencies put out the Guitars From Agadez album in the early-ish 2000s, and it was a huge buzz for me that Orchestra of Spheres got to support Group Inerane at a gig in Utrecht in 2011." - Daniel Beban (Orchestra of Spheres) via Under The Radar
Orchestra of Spheres' performance at Le Guess Who? 2018 is curated by Shabaka Hutchings. This curated program also features o.a. Sons of Kemet XL, The Comet is Coming, Kadri Gopalnath, Paddy Steer, King Ayisoba, Hello Skinny, BCUC, Ill Considered, and many more.
