Liquid Architecture creates Mobility Grant Award for South East Asian artists

Naarm/Melbourne-based COSMOS Embassy Liquid Architecture, alongside our Vietnamese COSMOS friends from the Rắn Cạp Đuôi Collective, has put together the SEAM Awards Grant—a mobility grant designed to support artists from Southeast Asia in spreading their message.

The deadline for applications just got extended for one more week; artists can apply until 2 July.

The SEAM Awards Grant exists to recognize, support, and sustain sound art and music based practices across the Southeast Asian region and diaspora.

Through a recurring and regionally informed award cycle, the grant provides both financial support and public recognition to emerging and mid-career practitioners working in experimental, traditional, hybrid and culturally specific forms of sound and music.

The SEAM Awards Grant is committed to strengthening sustainable infrastructure for sound and music practices in the region. We support artists who work on the radical edges of sound. We aim to foster long-term, sustainable frameworks for artistic practice and exchange.
