Ever since co-founding the seminal Sonic Youth in the early 80’s, Gordon has remained at the nexus of music, art and (more recently) books and film. Kim Gordon continues to redefine her legacy with her sophomore solo album, The Collective, released this year to critical acclaim. It is a mesmerizing, deadpan meditation on the modern world.
