Devendra Banhart releases 'Cripple Crow' 20th Anniversary Reissue

Singer-songwriter Devendra Banhart became one of the defining artists of the 2000s international indie music scene. Now, the artist reissues on of his landmark albums, 2005's Cripple Crow for its 20th anniversary.

The new deluxe edition is out now - via Banhart’s new label, Heavy Flowers - and it includes the original album, demos, the B-side Shame, a previously unreleased song and live recordings. Following the new release, Banhart returns to Le Guess Who? after being one of the festival's guest curators in 2018, for a stripped-back, career-spanning solo show, performing songs from his extensive catalogue… and with some crowd participation.

When we recorded [I Just Feel Like A Child] for Cripple Crow I’d found my musical family, people like [producer-musicians] Andy Cabic from Vetiver, Noah Georgeson and Thom Monahan.
