Beatmaker, DJ & 'king amongst cratediggers' Kutmah added to Le Guess Who? program
We couldn’t resist: we’ve added beatmaker, DJ & 'king amongst cratediggers' Kutmah to the line-up for Le Guess Who? 2017. This will be a DJ set on Friday, 10 November in TivoliVredenburg’s Ronda, performing right after our surprise act that night.
Justin 'Kutmah' McNulty was born in Brighton, England to an Egyptian mother and Scottish father. After moving to the United States at twelve years old, KUTMAH ultimately made a name for himself as an underground artist, beatmaker & DJ'. In 2004, KUTMAH launched the seminal club Sketchbook, which forged fundamental roots of the now-infamous LA beat scene, paving the way for a.o. Low End Theory and Brainfeeder.
We’re also happy to announce that The Exotic Sounds of Ajabu will fill the Pandora Foyer on Thursday again with groovy greats. The music at Plein 5 in TivoliVredenburg will be hosted by unconventional radio station Stranded FM on Friday; international music platform Red Light Radio on Saturday; and the colorful world of Arp Frique on Sunday.
