The work of multi-talented sound artist Ahmed El Ghazoly (also known as ZULI) has spilled over Cairo's borders onto the rest of the world, garnering support from the likes of Aphex Twin and Autechre. In addition to releasing his music on labels such as UIQ and Haunter Records, ZULI is also determined to uplift other Middle Eastern creative voices. The musician and producer, whose sonic stance can be heard monthly on NTS Radio, is now embarking on a new venture, as he is presenting a novel a/v performance with audiovisual artist Omar El Sadek. For it, audiences can expect the only variable in the music’s oscillating oceanic free fall to be their work’s alluring gravitational pull.
