Yerai Cortés

Flamenco guitarist Yerai Cortés dazzles with his kaleidoscopic creativity; moving effortlessly through bulerías, seguiriyas, and malagueñas—forms of Spanish traditional dance music—while opening flamenco to echoes of the Mediterranean, North Africa and Latin America. Though still at the start of his career, his playing carries a rare blend of youthful intensity and striking maturity: intricate yet spacious, virtuosic but deeply traditional. On stage, accompanied by six vocalists and palmeros, he creates a performance rooted in flamenco tradition, while open to unexpected directions.
