Theo Parrish
In the nineties, electronic music was flowering out of every crevice in Detroit. Theo Parrish has taken it upon himself to continue sowing the city’s seeds. The producer, DJ, and sound engineer founded the vinyl institution Sound Signature Recordings in 1997. He has also built a reputation for his unique performances, each an experience that cannot be repeated thanks to his sprawling mixes and knack for improvisation. In this rare, exclusive, and extended set, Theo Parrish will reshape once more what we call Black dance music and serve as an example of creative independence.
