The Ensemble of Cultural Approximation

Fresh collective The Ensemble of Cultural Approximation (TECA) has rapidly established itself in the Dutch underground scene with their self-dubbed "Shroombia”: a high-energy fusion of Latin American musical idioms, psychedelia, post-punk and electronics reinterpreted with a snappy, dreamy, and sometimes raw contemporary edge. Built around drums, guitar, bass and synths, their sound shifts between hypnotic grooves, dreamy textures and raw, explosive passages. Live, these elements lock into a dynamic, body-moving pulse, balancing tightly woven rhythms with unexpected turns and bursts of energy.
