Scene Noise is a music and culture platform based in Egypt, focussing on the SWANA subcultures and underground music scenes. In this panel discussion they will delve into the journey of several artists from different continents, coming from a local underground music scene stepping into the global music industry. They will discuss the scenes they grew up in, how their environment has influenced their sound, how they found their breakthroughs and the stereotypes they come across in relation to their music, often labeled as ‘non-western’.
