Nancy Mounir’s Nozhet El Nofous

Born in Alexandria and currently based in Cairo, Nancy Mounir is an artist of extraordinary versatility, which allowed her to leave a deep mark in Egypt’s alternative music scene. Her work has led her to collaborate with names such as Massar Egbari and Dina El Wedidi and soundtrack theater, film, and art. This year, she is re-introducing herself as a solo artist with 'Nozhet El Nofous' - a timeless, transcendental record which she will be performing with the Utrecht-based string quartet The Flare Quartet.
