The work of sound artist and multi-instrumentalist More Eaze melds youthful pop sensibilities with deep explorations of elemental musical theory, both in her solo work as well as in her many collaborations as string arranger, musician and producer. Her numerous releases weave mundane, everyday sounds, acoustic orchestration and instrumentation, and electronics into adventurous textural compositions. Her music explores themes of intimacy, yearning, Americana and the transformation of abstract feeling into intense living through compositions that move seamlessly between the banal and the ethereal. Though she has previously demonstrated an inclination towards repetition and minimalism, her recent music stretches simple ideas to their logical extremes, coalescing into a variety of arrangements and formations.
