Founded by siblings Chuquimamani-Condori & Joshua Chuquimia Crampton, Los Thuthanaka bridge the past, present and future of the mighty Pakajaqui Nation through a potent blend of Andean rhythms, Aymara composition and psychedelic rock. Guitars scorch through sampled patterns like a popular fair colliding with a rave’s sound system, their sound breaking in and out like a drifting radio signal. As a listener, you are pulled into a hazy, distorted déjà vu, where cyclical beats create a sense of continuity, fluidity and ever-expanding musical motion. 

For Le Guess Who?, Los Thuthanaka has curated a program featuring artists who explore Indigenous Andean culture and translate it into contemporary experimental, electronic and psychedelic forms.
