However, make no mistake; Vandever emerges from the labyrinth alone, bearing the lit torch of jazz’s historical yearning for connection. After playing with Harry Styles and Japanese Breakfast, Vandever is a rising star in her own right. Her tender debut is drawn from childhood memories, the vividness of dreams, and Hawaiian mythology. Delving into this heritage, Vandever was struck by the greatest inspiration of all, manifesting in her striking body of work.
