In early 2021, GNOD’s Paddy Shine (one of the two ever-present members of the psychedelic noise-rock collective) crossed paths with MC Sissi at an artists’ residence nestled between the Portuguese and Spanish borders. There, Paddy and the Porto-born multidisciplinary artist found love, bonding over their taste for the psychedelic and surreal. The now-married couple is joining fellow GNOD’er Chris Haslam to introduce audiences to the new rewiring of the band’s sound. In MC Sissi, they find the ideal sidekick to their transforming and transformative performances.
