After earning her stripes on the Tunis scene, Deena Abdelwahed came to Paris, set on new musical inquiries. Since her arrival, the DJ and producer has been showered with praise from outlets such as Pitchfork and The Guardian, who commended the fine-drawn ways in which her work paints the diversity of Arabic music. Following her critically acclaimed debut 'Khonnar', Abdelwahed continues to push artistic boundaries with her newest record 'Jbal Rrsas'. This album intertwines experimental electronics, techno beats, and deep basslines to create a unique and captivating sound. At Le Guess Who?, she will perform her new record.
