Combining analogue synthesis and field recording, electronic composer Craven Faults creates otherworldly sonic landscapes, inspired by his native Yorkshire. His dark ambient music unfolds as a disorienting journey through the Northern England's mountains, where hypnotic arpeggios and pensive bass lines emerge from the fog, gradually shifting beneath ghostly tones and drones. Slow, restrained rhythms build a quiet tension, while bright analogue textures and distant melodies drift in and out of focus, resulting in a sound world that is somber yet strangely ecstatic.
